Criollo and Corojo de Oro are part of a design series featuring the vintage-style "Lady La Gloria" illustration. This series is art deco inspired and relies on patterns with simple, clean lines. I chose a simple typeface with visually interesting glyphs to complement the overall box design and art deco style.
Criollo de Oro was the first to be printed with our 3D ink machine. All of the outer lid line work and type are raised and provide a unique and interesting tactile element. The bands feature eye-catching foil and blind-embossed patterns to mimic the 3D ink on the boxes.
